Leading fuel card and fuel management solutions provider, Keyfuels, has achieved ‘one to watch’ status in the prestigious Best Companies accreditation scheme for the second year in a row.
The awards follow an elite ‘Michelin star’ style rating system for organisations that demonstrate high levels of employee engagement and are unique in that the scoring is decided by the employees themselves, based on their satisfaction levels with the various areas of the business.
The company, which employs over 50 people at its headquarters in Walsall, manages billions of litres of fuel each year for some of the largest fleets in the UK and provides state-of-the-art fuel management programmes.
Peter McCarthy, Keyfuels’ Service and Operations Director commented: “This award is very special to us as it is based entirely on staff feedback and is an accurate reflection of the way employees feel about the company.
“At Keyfuels, we understand that the biggest assets any company can have are its people and we work hard to ensure that we communicate effectively with all staff and that our business is a happy and healthy place to work.”
Best Companies Accreditation was established to acknowledge excellence in the workplace and feeds in to the prestigious Sunday Times ‘Best Companies to Work for in the UK’. It is awarded following the analysis of questions within the Best Companies employee survey.
Jonathan Austin, founder and CEO of Best Companies said: “I would like to congratulate Keyfuels on their outstanding achievement. This year it is encouraging to see that more and more organisations are recognising the value of employee engagement and are willing to benchmark themselves against the best to ensure they are offering their employees the best possible experience.
“Organisations like Keyfuels have continued to focus on their employees development, training and progression within the company and have been rewarded with an engaged workforce who tell us that this is a great place to work.”
