Under the motto “Driving. People. Partner.”, MAN will be presenting its particularly efficient truck and van portfolio from 3.5 to 250 tonnes at the IAA Transportation 2026 – equipped with conventional and electric drives, digital services for high vehicle availability and modern safety and assistance systems. The offer is supplemented by a comprehensive ecosystem around electromobility, charging and energy supply. In this way, MAN is showing how the transformation of the transport sector can be made successful and profitable. For the first time at the IAA: test drive opportunities that start directly at the MAN trade fair stand in Hall 11.
Whether electric or conventional: Efficiency as a decisive success factor
With the MAN eTGL, eTGM, eTGS and eTGX series, MAN will in future have an end-to-end electric truck portfolio from 12 to 50 tonnes, which will be on display in its entirety for the first time at the IAA Transportation 2026. It covers almost the entire range of applications from urban distribution logistics to municipal applications and construction site traffic to long-distance transport. Ranges of up to 570 kilometres without intermediate charging for a MAN eTGX in the typical long-haul semitrailer combination already allow it to be used economically in numerous classic transport applications. All model series benefit from a common, particularly efficient and modular battery technology that offers the right configuration for every transport task.
The focus is also on cost-effectiveness with conventional drives. The new D30 PowerLion powertrain enables fuel savings of up to five percent compared to its predecessor, making it one of the most efficient solutions on the market.

New technologies reduce fuel and energy consumption
One focus of this year’s innovations is the further development of the GPS-supported MAN EfficientCruise system with PredictiveDrive. By intelligently taking into account the route profile, traffic infrastructure and speed specifications, fuel and energy savings of up to 5,5 percent can be achieved with consistent use of the system, depending on the vehicle type and application profile. In challenging topographies, savings of up to nine percent are even possible. The system thus makes a direct contribution to reducing operating costs and relieving the driver’s workload.
At the same time, MAN is improving the operational availability of its vehicles. Automatic map updates over the air keep the systems up to date without the need for workshop visits.
Safety as an important component
In addition to efficiency and availability, MAN is also focusing on road safety at the IAA Transportation 2026. Modern driver assistance systems support drivers in demanding traffic situations and help to prevent accidents or reduce their consequences. At the same time, they help fleet operators minimize unplanned downtime. Safety thus becomes an important component of an economical fleet operation.
The new features include the next generation of the MAN Emergency Brake Assist EBA Advanced emergency braking system, a new driver monitoring system for detecting distraction and fatigue, as well as extended functions for the protection of pedestrians, cyclists and other road users in the near and turning areas. In addition, MAN is presenting new solutions for blind-spot monitoring and is expanding its MAN OptiView digital mirror replacement system to include an attractive entry-level version.
Holistic solutions for economical electromobility
For MAN, the cost-effectiveness of the transformation to electric drive does not end with the vehicle. That’s why MAN Transport Solutions is focusing on the entire e-mobility ecosystem at the IAA, with intelligent solutions for charging infrastructure, smart charging and energy management. The aim is to optimize charging times, reduce energy costs and make the use of electric fleets economical. In line with this, MAN Charge&Go’s range is growing by 50 additional charging stations in Europe, including in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Portugal. The charging service gives fleet customers access to a charging network that has been tested by MAN for electric truck suitability, which is continuously growing and can be used across countries.
In addition, MAN will provide an outlook on new applications such as bidirectional charging and, with the Smart Charging Cube, will be showing solutions for locations where high-performance grid connections are not yet available. Together with its own services and partners along the energy and charging infrastructure, this will create a comprehensive range of services for the successful transition to electric mobility.
MAN TGE with new free “Lifetime Connectivity”
At this year’s IAA, the MAN TGE will also be dominated by efficiency, productivity and driver comfort. Ten years after its world premiere in Hanover, MAN is presenting new customization offers from MAN Individual as well as new MAN TGE Connect services. The MAN Individual range will be expanded to include the MAN TGE Individual Lion X equipment line and the Individual Black entry-level package.
The highlight of the digital service offering for the MAN van is the new “Lifetime Connectivity”, which will be available from September at no additional cost to the customer. This means that all digital services in the MAN TGE, including online functions and map updates, are offered at no additional cost. Another innovation is the MAN TGE Connect app, which allows drivers to make their everyday work more comfortable, efficient and transparent. The application connects driver and vehicle in real time, creating a central interface for control and information.
