Contract hire and fleet management company, Specialist Fleet Services Ltd (SFS) has appointed Jeff Bennett as Southern Regional Operations Manager, to look after its growing customer base in the area, including the joint contract with Mid-Devon District Council and Exeter City Council.
Jeff, who has 14 years’ experience in commercial vehicle contract hire and workshop management, said: “I started out as an apprentice mechanic and worked my way up the ranks to manage a team of technicians before becoming a service manager for a commercial HGV and bus dealership. My last role prior to joining SFS was Operations Director for a national contract hire and rental company.
“When I came across the position at SFS I knew it was a good fit for my particular skillset and experience. I am also really looking forward to getting to know a different sector. It’s a challenging, interesting role and something I can get my teeth into.”
