Daniel Strucks is the new head of the “MAN Engines” business unit at MAN Truck & Bus

Daniel Strucks will take over the position of “Head of MAN Engines” and will be responsible for the engine and components business of MAN Truck & Bus SE. In his role, he bundles strategic and operational responsibilities and leads a seven-person management team at the Nuremberg location with the areas of Strategy & Product, Development, Sales, Finance, Partnerships & Initiatives and Services & Network.

The 46-year-old mechanical engineer has extensive management experience in the commercial vehicle and components industry. In various management positions at MAN Truck & Bus – including Head of Commercial Service Operations in Customer Service and Head of Sales & Customer Solution IT – he has made a significant contribution to business development in customer service and the digitalization of customer-oriented processes. Even in these roles, there were close interfaces to the engine business, which enabled him to gain in-depth knowledge of MAN Engines’ products, markets and strategic challenges. Strucks gained international expertise as Head of After Sales at MAN Truck & Bus Korea and as Managing Director of Hyva Germany GmbH, a leading global supplier of hydraulic vehicle components.

Strucks succeeds Mikael Lindner, who has held the position of Head of Cluster MEA & CIS at MAN and Managing Director of MAN Truck & Bus Middle East FZE in Dubai since August of this year and was acting head of the MAN Engines business unit in a dual role until the end of October 2025. As Head of MAN Engines, Strucks will report to Friedrich Baumann, Member of the Executive Board for Sales & Customer Solutions at MAN Truck & Bus. “With his extensive experience in the areas of digitalization, after-sales, international business development and component sales, Daniel Strucks will provide decisive impetus for the strategic development and market positioning of MAN Engines,” said Baumann.
