BCA Belle Vue Manchester set a new volume record on 5 July, selling over 400 light commercial vehicles in one day for the first time, as buyers turned out in force for the regular weekly sale.
The Commercial Vehicle team at Belle Vue achieved the new high point just weeks ahead of the completion of the purpose built, dedicated LCV remarketing centre on a 6.5 acre site adjacent to the existing 32 acre auction facility.
With stock entered by a range of Blue Chip brand names from the fleet, lease, rental, finance, local authority and dealer sectors, there was competitive bidding both in-lane and via BCA Live Online. BCA offers Assured Reports conducted by the AA on many vans, with the company’s unique LCV Video Appraisals also helping to build buyer confidence. A total of 407 LCVs were sold on the day.
Duncan Ward, BCA’s LCV Operations Director, commented: “This is a significant result that underlines that whatever the market conditions, BCA generates the buying power to successfully remarket huge numbers of vehicles, swiftly and efficiently.”
