For the fourth year running, the Sauber F1 Team will be traveling to the European Formula 1 Grand Prix events with Renault Trucks vehicles. At the end of April, the Swiss team took delivery of four Renault Trucks T520s for transporting equipment and personal to the tracks.
At the same time as Formula 1’s European season was just getting underway with the Spanish Grand Prix, the Sauber F1 Team once again demonstrated its confidence in Renault Trucks. The four Renault Trucks Range T High vehicles feature the DTI 13 520hp engine and the flat cab floor. The Renault Trucks Range T vehicles’ productivity and cab comfort, with its many storage compartments were both key factors influencing the purchasing decision.
The fleet for the Sauber F1 Team consists of 14 Renault Trucks long haul vehicles and 12 Renault LCVs. The vehicles’ keys were presented to Monisha Kaltenborn, the Sauber F1 Team Manager, by Luzi Thomann,MD of Thomann Nutzfahrzeuge AG, Renault Trucks’ partner and dealer at a ceremony attended by Adrian Sutil, one of the team’s drivers.
