Supplied by Guest Truck and Van, the truck features a 510hp Cursor 13 engine, ON+ set up and an Active Space low roof, single bunk sleeper cab. The aluminium aggregate tipper body has been built by Swadlincote Aluminium & Welding Co. Family-run JAB Haulage also specified a camera system, work lighting along both sides of the body and a CB radio, all supplied and fitted by Vehicle Lining Services.
JAB Haulage MD Jason Binning said: “This is our third Iveco purchase, and we came back to Guest Truck and Van because of the excellent sales and aftersales service we’ve had from our rep.
“Our business is about moving aggregates, so we specified the 13-litre, 510hp engine with some serious torque, which will give us better usability as well as better fuel efficiency.”
Praising the truck’s looks, Binning said all of accessories had been added for a purpose, and not just for appearances. “The side lighting system allows us to work safely on dark winter days and even the polished aluminium wheels are fitted because they’re so easy to clean rather than for bling,” he added.
