“We decided to launch our new range of heat inductors after seeing a rise in interest from the market for smaller heat inductors,” said Tom Coad, Technical Demonstrator.
“Our existing range of Josam Heat Inductors are very popular within the market for extensive heating thanks to their unique cooling technology. We identified a need to accommodate those workshops that would benefit from induction heating but would not necessarily need the 20 minutes+ duty cycles that is offered with the Josam products.”
The range of heat inductors includes 2 lightweight and portable heat inductors with interchangeable tips and coils.
- AES hi1.5 – A lightweight ultra-portable workshop induction heater with integrated cooling. Particularly useful for applications with screwed joints in vehicles, cases, bearings, hubs etc. 1.5kw output, 4.5kg in weight with interchangeable coils to suit almost any job.
2. AES hi3.5 – A portable workshop induction heater with integrated water cooling and variable heat settings. Particularly useful for applications with screwed joints in vehicles, cases, bearings, hubs etc. 3.5kw output, 13.5kg in weight with interchangeable tips to suit almost any job.
Induction heating offers many benefits over gas heating, primarily the safety factor. The no-open flame approach to heating ensures risks with gas heating are mitigated, further to this the heat is applied in a much more concentrated manner meaning surrounding parts, wiring and paintwork remain intact.
