Available with a choice of four efficient turbo diesel engines, the Renault Trafic is available in Panel Van, Crew Van and Passenger bodystyles. Trafic boasts fuel economy of up to 50.4mpg (NEDC Combined) and CO2 emissions as low as 149g/km (Passenger version), and is priced from £18,475 excluding VAT.

The strong UK result contributed to Renault being the best-selling LCV brand in Europe for the 18th consecutive year. In a market that was up 11.4 per cent, Renault’s LCV sales rose to 16.9 per cent – equivalent to the sale of 29,000 additional vehicles across Europe.

Renault Trucks, which saw Euro 6 market share up from 3.3% to 5.6% in 2015. “We are expecting further market share improvements with the launch of our new, lighter 7.5 tonne product later this year,” said Nigel Butler, Commercial Director, Renault Trucks. “It has been good to see our volumes increasing at twice the rate of the market in trucks and five times the rate in an LCV market which saw van registrations up 15.6% year on year in 2015.”

“Looking to the year ahead, we expect some slight softening of heavy truck registrations but this may be offset by further recovery in the medium duty sector,” commented Nigel Butler. “We see LCV continuing to grow but at a reduced pace, possibly affected by the change to Euro-6 which will no doubt add some unusual seasonality to registrations this year with the September switch over.”
