Quality leads, quality exhibitors and quality products were the key words from exhibitors and visitors alike at FPS EXPO 2012 earlier this month at Harrogate International Centre.
Despite the awful weather dampening spirits, when the doors closed on the April 19 show organisers calculated that similar numbers of visitors to 2011, came through the doors of the oil distribution exhibition over the two days.
When asked why exhibitors had decided to be at FPS EXPO 2012 one company summed it up. Dublin based, TEC Industrial Ltd’s MD, Simon van Lonkhuyzen commented: “The FPS Show is the premier event for the oil distribution industry. 2011 was the first year we exhibited; TEC Industrial generated a huge amount of sales leads both from visitors to our stand and also to other exhibitors.”
FPS EXPO 2012 Exhibitor Kiran Shaw, Operations Manager at IFC Inflow added: “We are really pleased with the response we got at FPS EXPO 2012. Not only is it our most important show of the year, we also really enjoy attending it and catching up with both customers and suppliers, old and new. There was a real buzz about the place this year and that showed in the level of enquiries we received, as well as the general atmosphere we experienced.”
Emco Wheaton who manufactures fluid handling equipment also exhibited at the show and echoed the thoughts of many exhibitors and visitors when they said: “FPS EXPO is a very focused show, targeted specifically to our customer base. This is an opportunity to showcase our latest developments to a large audience”.
Planning has already begun for the 33rd FPS EXPO which will again be held in Harrogate on April 17-18 2013 and already 50% of the stand space has sold with many of the 2012 exhibitors returning.
