At this year’s inaugural Hypermotion event, both established companies and start-ups are set to present new, networked, integrated and multimodal systems and solutions for transport, smart regions, mobility, logistics and digital infrastructure. Visitors can look forward to extensive networking opportunities as well as a three-day conference, with presentations by over 200 speakers and experts on the following themes: digital challenges for local public transport, digital supply chain management, the future of intelligent networking, infrastructure challenges in urban agglomerations, modern mobility management, connectivity and mobility concepts, and smart cities and regions.

Broad support from German government and industry
Hypermotion enjoys both government and industry support. It is sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) and the State of Hesse (represented by the Hessian Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transport and Regional Development). Hypermotion is also supported by all major German transport and mobility associations, including ITS Deutschland (German Association for Intelligent Transport Systems), the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV), the German Association of Transport Sciences (DVWG) and the German Transport Forum (DVF).

The transport sector is racing ahead
Autonomous vehicles in road traffic, futuristic delivery robots in pedestrian zones and self-learning algorithms in company software; the mobility industry is racing ahead with the implementation of pioneering innovations. Driven by digitisation and decarbonisation, growing numbers of integrated and multimodal solutions are taking the market by storm. The boundaries between transport, logistics and infrastructure are disappearing, and billions of items of data are being networked.

Inspiration for mobility 4.0
Hypermotion focuses on intelligent systems and solutions for mobility, transport, smart regions, logistics and digital infrastructure. From 20-22 November 2017, major companies, SMEs, start-ups, representatives of industry, science and government, and trade visitors will all be coming together on the Frankfurt exhibition grounds to discuss solutions for mobility 4.0 and jointly develop new ideas. The exhibition will be supplemented by conferences on the topics of digitisation, intelligent transport systems (ITS) and intermodality.

With Hypermotion, Messe Frankfurt hopes not only to establish a new meeting place for the mobility scene, but also to help raise the visibility of start-ups, for a successful digital transformation in the transport sector requires the collaboration of traditional firms and new companies. The trade fair offers a platform on which old- and new-economy companies can explore potential partnerships and work together to develop new business models.

Hypermotion Lab with hackathon, start-up pitches and talks
Under the motto “Next Generation Mobility”, the Hypermotion Lab will bring together the next generation of software, hardware and UX specialists. At the hackathon, start-up pitches offer entrepreneurs the perfect stage on which to present their ideas to a panel of investors. Visitors can also take advantage of discounted exhibition areas, including an extensive package of services.
