‘Jute, Jam, Journalism’ and Crypto VGA

This is not a story about Dundee, as those of you of a literary bent may have thought from the first few words of the title. It is however about a small community on the east coast of the Isle of Lewis off the west coast of Scotland which now has strong links with the City of Dundee, or at least with one of its more successful businesses, Tokheim.

Running east from the Stornoway to Harris road, down along Loch Eireasort to the shoreline on The Minch, lies a remote area scattered with a few small villages and clusters of crofts, an area called South Lochs.
