Emsland transportation firm Krone has announced details of its ‘Clever Connections’ presentation at this year’s IAA.
The company will be revealing all-new networked vehicles packed with artificial intelligence technology, and a 360° service for commercial vehicles that optimises operating times and ownership costs of freight forwarders. Krone hopes its new offerings will help connect the transport world in innovative ways.
Its new trailer features a smart trailer check system that ensures optimum transport conditions before journeys, and a smart scan load space detection system that provides an overview of free capacity in the trailer. The trailer is also networked to external freight exchanges to ensure optimum space efficiency. Krone says the features provide smart and efficient transport with added value for daily routines.
“We are making the trailer ready for the future with artificial intelligence and networking our products with suitable services for more mobility and more efficient logistics. This ensures safe transport of goods and prompt provision of all important transport data. We place the highest demands on our portfolio and constantly renew our quality promise so that our customers are on the road even more economically,” explained managing partner Bernard Krone.
