MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd awards and celebrates the achievements of the brightest and best young people from across its Apprenticeship Academy. The awards day, held at the F1® Arcade in Central Birmingham, saw Apprentices from all business areas travel across the country to test and hone their skills in a thrilling F1 racing experience.

Made to feel like Champions the Apprentices enjoyed the thrill, excitement and glamour of F1 with full-motion racing simulators, whilst eating amazing food and networking with other MAN Apprentices, all in an electric atmosphere.

Glen Crompton, Customer Service Management Director, MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd, hosted the awards and commented: “These apprentices, whose magnificent achievements we are celebrating today, represent the future and lifeblood of our business. Everyone here has shown a high level of professionalism in the workplace and displayed model attitudes and behaviour traits.

“These awards help recognise the individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the apprentice program, continuously showing dedication, commitment, hard work and passion for the MAN brand. Every one of these highly valued young men and women will lead the drive to keep tomorrow’s MAN Trucks, Vans and Buses out on the road and earning.”

The MAN Apprenticeship program helps develop young people for the network and assists in succession planning and MAN’s future growth aspirations. The MAN Apprenticeship Program has seen over 300 apprentices graduate since 2017.
