Mercedes-Benz is once again making its presence felt at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show, with an all-encompassing stand ranging from the Citan small city van, through to the new Arocs SLT 4-Axle heavy haulage tractor unit. Taking place at Birmingham’s NEC from 29 April to 1 May 2014, Mercedes-Benz is presenting its offering on stand 5D10, as well as a full 34-vehicle line-up in the outside exhibition area adjacent to Hall 5 of the NEC, alongside Used Approved Commercial Vehicles from Mercedes-Benz Wentworth Park.
In addition to the vehicles, experts from Mercedes-Benz will be on-hand to discuss everything from FleetBoard through to a range of parts and servicing options, finance and driver training.

FleetBoard are now based with the Truck team at Mercedes-Benz UK in Milton Keynes, and the team will be on-hand at the CV Show to demonstrate the system and its operational advantages. Actros still has a free four-month trial on all vehicles, with a 60% adoption rate after trial.
FleetBoard can be fitted to all Mercedes-Benz Trucks both at factory and in the UK, and all other manufacturer vehicles (offering one telematics solution across the Fleet).

With a deadline of September looming, Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training is one of the many aspects truck drivers must complete to continue their day-to-day job. Mercedes-Benz is one of the largest providers of CPC Training in the UK, with a team of fully qualified trainers at Mercedes-Benz Wentworth Park Commercial Vehicles.
In addition, Wentworth Park will be highlighting the Used Approved Commercial Vehicle options across Truck, Fuso and Van, with a Used 1 Vito 113 CDI Traveliner, Actros 2546LS MegaSpace and an Actros 2545LS BigSpace Driver Training vehicle. The team will be available throughout the CV Show to discuss options and answer any questions.

2013 marked the best year ever for Mercedes-Benz Trucks in the UK, with 9,500 trucks (8,468 Mercedes-Benz and 1,003 Fuso Canters) registered – a 7% increase on 2012, while also beating 2005’s previous record.
Mercedes-Benz Truck registration volumes grew in 2013 by 35%, against a market that increased by 28%, outperforming market growth by 7%.
