The NTDA event will take place on 5 November
The NTDA has announced that its 91st Annual Dinner and Drinks Reception, which will be held at the Vox Conference Centre, Resorts World, Birmingham NEC on the evening of Thursday 5 November, will be sponsored by Maritime Cargo Services, the leading provider of professional freight forwarding and logistics solutions to the retail and wholesale industries.
Maritime Cargo Services, which is a supplier member of the NTDA, has been a long-term supporter of the association’s flagship events having sponsored individual tyre industry awards since 2014 and as the sole sponsor of the 2019 Tyre Industry Conference.
This year it has, once again, stepped up to partner the NTDA as it celebrates 90 years of supporting the UK’s tyre industry.
With more than nine months to go, 275 guests from tyre manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, retail and the associated automotive aftermarket have already booked for the annual dinner.
Speaking about the relationship his company has with the tyre industry and what the sponsorship means to him, Maritime’s MD and founder Rob Shelley said: “Maritime Cargo Services is incredibly proud to be part of your world and to be the sponsors of the NTDA’s 91st Annual Dinner and official Drinks Reception. Our vast experience means that we truly are a safe pair of hands for all of the tyre industry’s shipping and transport needs and we look forward to sharing another great evening with our friends and customers.”
The 2020 Tyre Industry Awards Ceremony is, once again, sponsored by Sailun and confirmed individual award sponsors this year are: Bridgestone, Compilator, Continental, Hankook, Marsh Commercial, Pirelli, Scots Auto Scene, Snap-on, The Commercial Vehicle Show, Traxx Tyres and The Worshipful Company of Wheelwrights.
The NTDA’s Stefan Hay said: “Maritime is both a fantastic member and company to work with and we are thrilled to have it as our 91st Annual Dinner sponsor in the year in which we officially celebrate our 90th birthday. Dinner bookings are coming in thick and fast, many of our Hon. Life Members have confirmed their attendance and award sponsors have been queuing up, so I have no doubt, that it’s going to be yet another ‘Full House’ and spectacular evening!”
After the huge success of his 2018 appearance, and subsequent demand for an encore, Stefan’s co-host for the 2020 Tyre Industry Awards Ceremony is the wonderfully wacky TV personality Mark Durden-Smith.
