Opus: Scotland’s finest oil

Despite all that we have heard over the past months about the petrochemical plant and refinery at Grangemouth, and despite the huge oil infrastructure activity around Aberdeen, the North-east and the Northern Isles, there is in fact only one major brand of oils and lubricants which is manufactured in Scotland.

Opus Lubricants are manufactured just a stones-throw from Ibrox Park in Glasgow, and the company has been based in the city for all of their 165 years in business, which makes them exactly fifty years older than their great rival Castrol!
