RWM in partnership with CIWM is the European event for resource efficiency and waste management solutions. Established in 1967, the event is highly regarded in the recycling and waste industry as the leading event in its field.
The event spans each element of the Waste Hierarchy; Reduce, Reuse and Recycle and is shaped around the demands of this rapidly growing sector. It attracts a broad range of exhibitors from product and technology manufacturers to niche specialists and comprehensive full service suppliers including: technology providers, specialist recycling and waste management services and solutions; machinery and equipment; handling and logistics and energy from waste, all offering solutions to reducing waste, managing its disposal or recycling it.
The event is targeted at professionals within both public and private sectors and visitors are represented from all types of business. These include waste management companies, materials recycling facilities (MRF’s), waste producers, waste consultants and local authorities for whom recycling and waste management is the main focus of their job.
A key focal point of the event is the fully CPD accredited Conference Programme which is industry recognised and completely free for the industry to attend. The programme welcomes the industry’s respected market voices and conference sessions are succinct, strategic reports, case studies and discussions from key industry practitioners and well respected professionals.
A partnership for growth
After listening to market feedback and responding in December 2010 to customer views that the UK resource efficiency and waste management sector needed one major exhibition, the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) and the Environmental Services Association (ESA), the organisers of Futuresource, and Emap, the organisers of RWM, joined forces to give the international recycling and waste management market this one major new exhibition; RWM in partnership with CIWM.
“An excellent event covering a wide range of activities and services which provide one with a much broader knowledge – and all available in one place, over three days, with professional staff to discuss one’s enquiries. No one can visit without broadening one’s knowledge and expertise. The seminars are excellent.”
Reg Waite, Councillor & Cabinet Member for Waste, Vale of White Horse District Council.
RWM in partnership with CIWM is co-located with The Energy Event and The Renewables Event.
The Energy Event is the UK’s most comprehensive exhibition and conference focused on energy efficiency, management and procurement.
