As you are all aware, Boniface has been producing quality recovery equipment for just over 30 years. Over this period they have supplied many heavy vehicles to The Mansfield Group – each one uniquely crafted to Darrell Mansfield’s exacting standards and each one more feature rich than the last.
The Mansfield Group’s ethos “whatever it takes” is echoed in this latest heavy recovery vehicle built by Boniface. The new Volvo FH tridem chassis with its two 9 tonne steer axles and high capacity rear bogie has been fitted with the latest Century 1140 rotator, SDU underlift and Maxireach Lowline H boom to create a truly versatile vehicle which is light and manoeuvrable enough for everyday lift and tow work but also capable of heavy recovery when the situation arises. It features three 50,000lb winches, ‘H’ beam front outrigger legs with an impressive 262” spread and the latest stability control system which prevents damage to the equipment and ensures the equipment is operating safely whilst maintaining stability. As you would expect for such an impressive vehicle, a huge amount of time and effort has been put into stowing a vast array of tools and equipment – everything has its place ensuring the correct tools are always to hand quickly and easily.
Pictured here outside the Mansfield Groups new Head Office in Stoke on Trent, the new Volvo will operate from The Mansfield Groups Derby branch. With more vehicles on the way, The Mansfield Group are demonstrating their long term commitment to the Rescue and Recovery Industry by investing in the latest equipment and technology ensuring they can cope with an ever increasing work load whilst maintaining exceptional standards and a professional image.
