Chris Wise has joined Wright Customcare as National Parts Manager for the UK, bringing with him extensive specialist knowledge of the bus industry.
In his new role Chris will be reporting into Ian Downie, Managing Director – Sales and Customcare for Wrightbus. As a key member of the aftersales team Chris will use his extensive industry expertise to deal directly with customers, assisting them with parts requirements and providing a valuable link back to the factory regarding aftermarket development opportunities.
Chris, who is from Leeds, has forty years of experience under his belt having spent his entire working life in the bus building industry, beginning his career as an apprentice at Leyland Bus. Chris has worked his way up the ladder having spent a significant part of his career with Optare UK, where he was a Design Engineer before moving into sales, where he became bus Sales Manager and then later Sales Director. He completed his 28 years with the company as commercial director in 2013. Chris has spent the last year as Commercial Director at Isringhausen GB before making the move to Wrightbus.
