Abbey Coaches operates services and hires on behalf of local government, businesses and private customers with its modern fleet of around 20 coaches. Many of them are Plaxton vehicles, including a similar Panther delivered in late 2023.
The new 57-seater is again built on the efficient Volvo B8R chassis and finished to a comprehensive specification. It complies with PSV Accessibility Regulations (PSVAR) thanks to destination displays and a side-mounted wheelchair lift.
Christine Walker, who manages Abbey Coaches along with her son Graeme, said: “Last year’s Plaxton Panther has smoothly settled into our fleet and it’s great to be adding this additional coach now. We’ll be using it on private hires and tours, for which the versatility of Plaxton coaches is ideal.”
