Road safety specialists Vision Techniques have announced the promotion of Steve Hurd to Managing Director.
Hurd has been at the forefront of the commercial vehicle sector for many years with directorship roles at several high-profile commercial vehicle companies. Beginning his journey with Vision Techniques in 2015, Steve was first appointed as National Sales Manager before subsequently becoming Sales Director in 2017. In this relatively short time, Steve has been instrumental in the company’s growth and success.
Charlotte Coop, Head of Marketing at Vision Techniques, said: “Steve’s determination and inspirational leadership comes with a work-hard, play-hard ethos. He continuously pushes the boundaries and his can-do attitude resonates throughout the business.”
To facilitate further growth, Steve has headhunted several talented senior management team members to deliver his strategy and vision for the future.

Last year, Vision Techniques doubled the size of their Head Office in Blackburn and reported year-end growth figures of 15%.
