Euro Bus Expo, one of the biggest events dedicated to the passenger transport industry opens its doors next week at the NEC, Birmingham.

The three day event will feature every link of the supply chain – from over 100 of the latest vehicles, plus bus interiors, accessories and workshop equipment, to IT solutions, training, legislation updates, and essential business services.

Among the major bus makers exhibiting at the event will be Alexander Dennis Limited (ADL), WrightBus, and Volvo Bus, which will be exhibiting its full range of hybrid, electric hybrid and full electric buses.

Over 9,500 key industry buyers and decision makers from across Europe are expected to attend, and entry to the event is free.

Euro Bus Expo 2016 takes place from November 1-3 at the West Midlands venue, with over 300 exhibitors and a number of new buses and related service industries represented.

As well as the exhibition, the event will feature a seminar programme, covering subjects from the Bus Services Bill, to emissions, contactless payments, talent and business management.

The Master Class Theatre will see representatives form major operators including The Go-Ahead Group, Nottingham City Transport, trentbarton, Reading Buses, FirstGroup and National Express, and will be addressed by Transport Minister Andrew Jones MP on November 3.

“Visiting Euro Bus Expo ?is essential to keep up-to-date with the latest innovations and solutions to help us deliver the very best for customers, employees and shareholders,” said Martin Gilbert, CEO of Reading Buses, who will be one of the speakers in the programme.


Euro Bus Expo’s free to attend seminar programme includes presentations from technology experts and operators who will address many of the biggest trials facing the sector.  Visit the Master Class Theatre, sponsored by SmartDrive Systems Ltd, to hear from leading industry figures how to prepare your business for the challenges ahead, including the Bus Services Bill, Brexit, devolution and smart ticketing.

The sessions will be hosted by broadcaster and journalist Dave Guest, the Master Class Theatre is a must-visit at Euro Bus Expo 2016.
