The long-awaited return of RWM exhibition is finally drawing closer, and FACTS Magazine is proud to once again be partnered with the biggest UK event of its kind.

Taking place on September 11 and 12 at the NEC Birmingham, RWM is recognised as the UK’s largest Recycling and Waste Management show. Ticket registrations are open – to secure yours please visit

Since a change of ownership in 2018, RWM has grown to attract over 12,000 professionals. From reviewing the huge seminar lineup and exciting content in store for 2019, there is no telling what kind of record-breaking attendance the event will see this year.

An all-star lineup

This year will see an out of this world seminar programme – with keynote speakers from NASA, TerraCycle, Procter & Gamble, Costa Coffee, Keep Britain Tidy, and the Clean Up Britain patron Jeremy Paxman.

The latest speaker announcement is responsible for Glastonbury Festival’s waste management, post-festival – Andy Willcott is the Director of Critical Waste and will be joining RWM’s keynote lineup to discuss the waste management of a temporary city, including its challenges and the successes which have fostered a consistent 50% recycling rate.

Further seminars are lined up from industry leading companies, including a host of eye-opening seminars on efficiency in the fleet and the transport industry.

Richard Lilwall, of Teletrac Navman, has more than 15 years of experience understanding the complexities of modern transport and logistics. Richard’s seminar will explore digital transformation through telematics.

On behalf of Automotive Equipment Solutions UK, Russ Coad will look at how to take control of your fleet: fuel, tyres, and emissions. Nicholas Beatty, of Zenobe Energy, will address technology risks and reducing costs of electric fleet vehicles in his seminar. And Matthew Bradfield of Future Mobility is set to discuss electrifying your fleet: the challenges, advantages, and practicalities.

500 Pioneering Exhibitors

With an extensive 500 exhibitors showcasing their finest solution led products and services, there truly is something for everyone. Be sure to visit the Live Demo area – the best place to view innovative and industry-leading equipment in action from right across the sector.

During the show, a stellar lineup of industry experts and legends will form the RWM judges’ panels. They will be visiting nominated stands to select the worthy winners of the RWM Innovation Awards.

Seven Zones

Industry leading businesses exhibit across seven zones, including Energy from Waste, Handling & Logistics, Machinery & Equipment, Recyclers & Reprocessors, Data Tech & Services, Waste Tech Live, and the Zero Emissions Zone.

Within these zones, a host of new features including the dedicated Waste Tech Theatre, the AI & Robotics Zone (featured within Waste Tech Live), the Zero Emissions Zone: Test Track, and the return of Materials World, will be on show.

Co-located shows

Your ticket to the RWM Exhibition will grant you access to a further four co-located shows – including Future Resource, the Contamination Expo, Flood Expo, and Fasteners Exhibition & Conference.

The combination of these powerhouse events will result in an expected attendance of 22,000 business professionals. Therefore, it goes without saying that the networking opportunities are unparalleled. Last year an exceptional £1.9bn was traded as a result of these environmental events.

Free tickets

Tickets to attend are completely free and are valid for both days of the show. What’s more, visitors who register in advance will receive a free hardcopy of the official RWM 2019 show guide – complete with show highlights, keynote profiles, the full timetable, floorplan, and exhibitor directory.
